The riding routes were every cyclist dream had us riding on rolling back country roads with only cows, sheep and well thought out break points for riders to rest and refuel at the always reliable sag wagon or local café. Big climbing days were always well discussed and reviewed with our group by Gary, an ATG partner and riding guide to insure everyone was going to have a fun, safe, memorable day on the bike. My trip was designed for a rider who likes to climb. We rode over 20 cols, 45,000 feet in 12 days. Every evening, ATG provided us with the next days route, grade/elevation, detailed maps and overall plan of action for our own review and planning purposes. ATG’s extensive bike tour experience allowed riders that may not want to ride/climb that day with alternative rides and local cultural experiences and suggestions to help them enjoy a day in France off their bike or just an easier/shorter riding day.
