"Having never ridden a proper road bike or been touring, going on a two-week cycling tour with Adventure Travel Group through the Italian Alps with a team of very keen cycling enthusiasts worried me ... "My trip was designed for a rider who likes to climb. We rode over 20 cols, 45,000 feet in 12 days. Every evening, ATG provided us with the next day’s route, grade/elevation, detailed maps and overall plan of action for our review.
