1. Pretrip San Sebastian, Spain/St Jean de Luz, France
    Arrive early and get over your jetlag and enjoy a few extra days exploring the Spain coastline or the resort town of St. Jean de Luz, France.
  2. Day 1-2 Basque country, France
    With your rear tire in the Atlantic we begin our journey to the Mediterranean. You will warm up your legs starting with gentle rolling terrain and enjoy the green landscapes and unique culture of the Basque country. You will ride 6 Cols including Col de Burdinkurutcheta and Col de Bagargui.
  3. Day 3-6 Hautes-Pyrenees, Classic TDF France Cols
    After your warm up days, you arrive in the Hautes (High) Pyrenees and get the opportunity to challenge yourself on most of the Tour de France's major cols: Col de Marie Blanque, Col d'Aubisque,Col du Soulor, Hautacam, Luz Ardiden, Col du Tourmalet, Col d'Aspin , Col de Peyresourde ,Port de Bales, and Superbagneres.
  4. Day 7-8 Catalunya, Spain
    You will leave the Hautes-Pyrenees via the Col de Portillon and cross into the Catalan region of Spain ascending the Val d'Aran where local children learn 3 languages in school (Aranese, Catalan and Spanish). You will tackle classic cols of the Vuelta a Espana such as Port de la Bonaigua and Port del Canto. On your way to Girona ride smooth, deserted scenic roads thru two Natural Parc's.
  5. Day 9-10 Girona and Costa Brava, Spain
    You will stay in Girona, strolling the medieval cobbled alleys where Lance Armstrong lived and ride the Pros and Lance Armstrong's favorite routes. You will finish the trip with a spectacular ride along the most dramatic section of the famous Costa Brava "The Big Sur of Spain" and celebrate your Trans-Pyrenees achievement with a swim in the Mediterranean.
  6. Day 11 Barcelona - Tour Conclusion
    Our tour ends after breakfast and includes a morning group shuttle to the Barcelona airport.
