You'll watch two Giro stages — one mountain finish and an individual mountaintop time trial — and climb 10 of the classic Dolomite passes. This is trip offers an experience of a lifetime!

Our small group size (16 riders maximum) makes it possible to stay in some of the most beautiful villages of Northern Italy. We make Giro viewing easy by carefully selecting quaint, welcoming inns that are close enough to the route to allow you to ride to where you'll watch the stage. There are no long waits in traffic or sitting in the van — just hop on your bike and find a good spot to watch. In many cases, the route passes close to our hotel, so it's within walking distance.

We also provide a variety of non-cycling options for guests who want to take a day off from riding or who are traveling with a non-riding companion.

Weather: May temperatures in the Dolomites can range from 80 degrees and sunny, to 40 degrees and raining with possibility of snow on the high passes. What Our Guests Are Saying

"Lise and Gary did such a great job finding extraordinary places along the way. We stayed in so many unique, wonderful hotels and inns. It was apparent that they had spent a lot of time finding interesting and special routes that really exposed us not only to the essence of the sport of cycling in Italy, but also to the less traveled, cultural aspects that helped round out our European experience."
Ruth and Bob Wade, Aspen, CO

"I have had the pleasure of taking two cycling trips to Europe with ATG and can't wait to take another! I couldn't imagine a better trip. Gary and Lise take care of every aspect of the trip with great attention to detail — the cycling route, food, accommodations and alternative activities are all planned to perfection. The end result is a trip that leaves me telling all my friends that trips with ATG are the ultimate vacations."
