This tour was designed with climbers in mind. We’ll climb some of the area’s best-known cols, including Alpe-d’Heuz, Col du Telegraphe and Mt. Ventoux. We’ll have five, two-night stays so you can enjoy the best cycling each area has to offer. Along with challenging rides, this area boasts renowned wineries, delicious Savoyard cuisine and gorgeous lake and mountain towns including Annecy, with its weekly markets, winding canals and myriad of outdoor activities. We’ll conclude our tour in beautiful Provence, with rolling hills, sparkling streams, vineyards and flower-filled meadows.

This trip includes some unforgettable climbs, including the Col du Marais, Col de la Croix-Fry, Col des Aravis, Col de la Colombiere, Col de Leschaux, Col du Frene, Col de Tamie, Col de la Madeleine, Col du Glandon, Col de la Croix de Fer, Col du Telegraphe, Col du Galibier, Alpe-d’Huez, Les Deux-Alpes, Villard-de-Lans, Col de Carri, Col de Portette, Col de la Bataille, Col des Limouches, Col de la Machine, Col de la Bataille and Mt. Ventoux. Feel the rush of summiting these epic cols!

Average Daily Mileage and Terrain
Ride an average of 60 to 70 miles, with 4,000 to 6,000 feet of climbing. As with all our trips, you decide how much or how little you want to ride each day. We’ll offer a variety of route options, along with daily non-cycling activities such as hiking, wine tasting, exploring the village or simply relaxing by the pool.

  • Bikes are not included, but are available for an additional fee.
  • Personal services, including laundry, telephone, hotel minibar charges, etc., are not included.
